I’m trying to write, but these guys keep looking at me. Strangely enough, they’re generally positive about my stories. Good group to hang out with.

Desk Crowd

On good writing days, I feel very happy, satisfied, fulfilled. This week has been pretty successful – I’m wrapping up a detailed outline for a romance novel. It’s not a very good story – yet. But I’m getting there, and hope to get some comments back on the outline, as well as tweak the outline and start writing in full shortly. Here’s the view from my basement desk:

Words

May turned into June, which became July and morphed into August.  Very little writing accomplished.  This left me sad, frustrated, irritated, depressed, and angry with myself.
