I can’t tell if it’s warmed up and some of the snow is melting. We’ll have to shovel soon, before it gets dark and the temperature drops. Postponing the shoveling, here is proof that I can actually bake brownies from scratch:

The brownies are Mom’s Cocoa Powder Brownies, which is a recipe I found on Food.com. I keep forgetting to buy vanilla extract, so I substituted maple syrup — I’ve done this for about 3 recipes now. Can’t tell the difference. : )
